Signs is a hand-tufted rug. The irregular geometric shapes which decorate the rug in relief are made of silk and are hand chiselled in the wool surface. The background and the designs are dyed in the same colour; considering that silk dying always results in lighter tones, it creates a tone-on-tone effect. Only one colour can be chosen. Composition of background: 100% virgin wool. Composition of design: 100% Royal silk.
