Equally joyful in name and narrative, Doodles Collection is the result of Faye Toogood’s exploration of new styles without boundaries. Drawing on tinkering techniques through the employment of off-cuts and appliqued cords, Doodles create collage styled assemblages. Graphic stitching details form curious patterns connecting the playful cut-out shapes through an overarching style of ready-made collage and a unique combination of thick and fine yarn with hand-cut pile, creating different heights and textures, from smooth to shaggy.
