Bellhop Bollard Low

Designer: E. Barber and J. Osgerby

New Bellhop Bollard diffuses a soft light designed to illuminate outdoor landscapes or pathways. Originally conceived as a table lamp for the London Design Museum restaurant, Bellhop moves outdoors. Reminiscent of a hatted hotel porter, Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby’s contemporary design offers diffused lighting which enriches landscapes and architecture. Bellhop utilizes the latest generation LED technology installed around the lamp head, protected by an opal optic diffuser, allowing a smooth and homogeneous light to radiate all around the pole. Inspiration behind the design: "The Bellhop began when we designed a table lamp for the new London Design Museum. The tabletop Bellhop gives the user ultimate flexibility as a portable lamp. Bellhop casts an atmospheric pool of light and the portable version is like a modern-day candle."
