This rug is created by joining felt elements with different dimensions and same colour, with an appliquéd design. Wool cords in mélange colours are sewn with different inclinations on each element composing the rug’s surface with Punto Zigzag, according to a pre-determined pattern. The elements are then sewn together with Punto Zigzag. The number of the designs varies according to the dimension of the rug. The border features the Punto Pettine. This rug can be produced in both single layer and double layer felt. In the double layer the under layer is always without stitching and in a single colour. Only in rug with a width higher than 200 cm the underside shows inner stitching. Composition: 100% woven felt in pure virgin wool, Cord in 58% virgin wool, 41% polyolefin, 1% polyamide.
