Floater Divider

Designer: Pauline Deltour

Originally designed by Pauline Deltour as a stand-alone piece of furniture, Floater has now evolved into a true modular system that uses connecting panels in three different heights to structure the room flexibly into lounge, work and storage zones. The modules can be used to relax in comfort, work undisturbed, store work equipment, house the staff cloakroom and much more besides. The hook-in panels can be arranged in a variety of ways to create S, L or U shapes, framing, connecting or separating different areas. The internal surfaces can be customised with a sofa, easy chair, desk, shelf or coat rack, and the external surfaces also offer a variety of functions. Lounge modules with sofas or armchairs (communication zones) can now be seamlessly combined with desk workstations (work zones). The basic configurations of this concept solution have an S or U shape. Different panels function as connections to line up several modules, similar to a modular system.
