Thea Armchair

Designer: Adam D. Tihany

Adam Tihany meets RODA and creates an inviting, contemporary outdoor seating collection inspired by lines and shapes found in nature. THEA consists of a two-seater sofa, an armchair, and coffee tables with round tops, in two sizes. The name of the collection, THEA, comes from Calathea indeed, a plant that grows in South America and is known for its beautiful striped leaves. The pattern characterising the structure of the THEA modules, in fact, has been inspired by these leaves and is a distinctive element of their design. The aluminium structure of the sofa and the armchair can be had in the typical smokeand rust painted finishes, and the comfortable cushions are available with water-draining padding materials. The table tops in porcelain stoneware can be freely personalised by choosing a colour from among the rich range of matte and glossy variants offered by RODA.
